ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION & SCIENCE

Planetlines.

Walking becomes a way to observe, ask questions, learn from one another, and understand our place in the world.

THE WALKING CLASSROOM

Trace a path.
Make a connection.

Planetlines is Planetwalk’s educational vision for learning through walking. It proposes connecting individual and group journeys, documenting where paths intersect, and using those connections to learn about people and places.

Planetlines is envisioned for students of all ages and the wider community, with both online learning and materials for people without internet access. Contact us to learn about its development.

Observation, science, and care

Our work brings students, scientists, and environmental practitioners together. It includes collaboration with GLOBE, the Appleseeds program in the Caribbean, and walks that encourage learning across cultural boundaries.

The Africa journey connects this approach with environmental observations and learning from communities. The Clubs proposal extends it to youth-led exploration and shared storytelling.
