With a dynamic career spanning emergency response, high tech, biotech, health care, and environmental advocacy, Dexter Chan is a problem-solver seeking to drive improvements at the local level that lead to impacts regionally and globally. Presently, he is a Program Manager at Hill Physicians Medical Group focused on transforming health care outcomes for patients. A former Apple Evangelist and senior process improvement manager at Genentech working on both manufacturing and global clinical trials, Dexter seeks to make the world better for everyone and has a strong background in innovation, technology and public service. His connection to Planetwalk began through his work with NOAA in Washington, D.C. on oil pollution legislation and response, where he met John Francis and discovered a shared passion for environmental justice. A dedicated board member, Dexter continues to lend his expertise in expanding Planetwalk’s network, organizational strategy and environmental policy to support Planetwalk’s global mission.
